Welcome Gamer
Game Stage
A father and son venture, we started this project in 2022, after falling in ♥ with the Godot gaming engine. Many of the established gaming websites are now run by greedy publishing organisations; who put their profit before community. We want to change that by providing a new stage for showing of indie game development. If you are enjoying a less serious approach, putting laughter and play first, with a website still in the works then...
...let the show commence, the games start and play on!
You are back; game, eat, sleep and repeat. Now get into costume and start reviewing some games. Everyone else join the ticket line and register for backdoor access. Free entry, tickets are speedely dispatched via email; best seats in the house for our star audience.
We are serving free website cookies for usage and fault analytics. But we are not sharing your or any data whatsoever with whomever including your parents.
Godot Game Engine
Godot is a cross-platform, free and open-source game engine. It was initially developed by Argentine software developers Juan Linietsky and Ariel Manzur for several companies in Latin America prior to its public release in 2014.
The development environment runs on multiple operating systems including Linux, BSDs, macOS, and Microsoft Windows. It is designed to create both 2D and 3D games targeting PC, mobile, and web platforms.
Linietsky stated in a presentation that the name "Godot" was chosen due to its relation to Samuel Beckett's play Waiting for Godot, as it represents the never-ending wish of adding new features in the engine, which would get it closer to an exhaustive product, but never will. <learn more>

About the cast
What are indie games?
An indie game, short for independent video game, is a video game typically created by individuals or smaller development teams without the financial and technical support of a large game publisher. <learn more>
How to create your own game?
We have started collecting resources to help you with developing indie games. Step one is to download and setup the Godot game engine. Step two is a short tutorial followed by a longer tutorial and eat, sleep and repeat.
It is not easy to get started with game design but it can be fun and rewarding in so many ways. You are never alone, there are many others sharing your interests. Start somewhere and keep going; use public forums to share your experience with new collegues and new friends. Soon you will be able to help others with starting their indie game journey, perhaps even career.
